Palm Sunday: Resources for Worship at Home

“Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”

Resources for worshipping at home: Palm Sunday, April 5th

Below are a few offerings that you can choose to use as you enter into worship today or through the week. But we trust you will also use your creativity to embrace worship in your homes and neighbourhoods lots of other ways!

(OR, watch these on their own:)

  • Tithes and Offerings:
    • Have offerings you would normally give on Sundays? Visit our Giving page.
  • Communion:
    • Use this Communion Liturgy, or one from a prayer book you have at home to share communion with others in your household.
  • Bulletin! Yes, we have an e-bulletin this week. You can find it for download here
  • Other ideas for creative worship:
    • Take a walk around the block and wave your palm branches, remembering the King who comes
    • Make a sign that says “Hosannah” and put it in your window
    • Listen for ways in which the outside world around you is praising God:
      • Can you hear the birds?
      • Can you sense the trees and plants glorifying their King?
      • Do you hear the stones crying out? Hosanna!
    • Think of other ways you can offer praise to the King of Peace today.

Hosanna! Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!

*We are hoping to offer a live-stream, if technology allows.
(If not, tune in at 10:30am and watch at that time anyways!)
