This collaborative, community-rooted interfaith reading group will be co-facilitated by Christians for a Free Palestine leaders Beth and Shadia and their friend Orev, an anti-Zionist Jewish leader and Hebrew Priestess. Together, we will critically examine how conquest narratives in the book of Joshua have been used to justify violence and colonialism, while opening space for liberating interpretations of sacred text. Each session will begin with a shared meal so we can build community with people of other faiths who share some of our values. More information and registration here.
